Light is the decoration.

The idea

  1. Their own line carries the page: “the best decoration any room can have is an item you can’t even touch, LIGHT.”
  2. The hero is one of their real ballroom photos with only the house lights on: flat, grey, a bit sad.
  3. The visitor is the lighting operator. Five moving heads on the photo’s real truss chase the pointer or finger, and the room gets its colour back where the light lands.
  4. Press and hold drops the beat: the whole room goes to full show, and their own “holy cow!” lands beside it.
  5. The four event types choose the rig’s colours (wedding amber, mitzvah magenta and blue, corporate teal, school-dance brights), and that colour follows the visitor down the page.

The ground is one page-long gradient from a warm dusk sky to a teal-black night, never flat black. Teal is kept for the action (“Check your date”), links and their script accent, so the brand colour always means “this way”.

Type

Gloock: Same room. Now add the lights.

Display. A warm, high-contrast serif with a record-sleeve feel: celebratory without being a nightclub.

Figtree: Are you getting married and looking for the perfect Los Angeles Wedding DJ?

Body and interface. Friendly and very readable on a phone.

Kaushan Script: holy cow!

Their own logo script, used only for their own asides (“holy cow!”, “I know, but we tried”).

Engineered moments

New copy (everything else is their wording, word for word)
